NOMBRAMIENTOS EN EL TERRITORIO DE ATLANTA

Three Legionaries take new assignments


Fr. Alvaro Corcuera, L.C., general director of the Legion, has announced three important new Legionary assignments for the Atlanta Territory.

Fr. Guillermo Serra, L.C., currently assistant for apostolate, will assume the role of assistant to the territorial director for the area of religious life.

Fr. André LaSana, L.C., is appointed assistant to the territorial director for the area of consolidation, planning, and development of the apostolate for the Atlanta territory, for a period of three years. Fr. André will continue functioning as the superior of the Chicago community until the summer.

Fr. Antonio Bailleres, L.C., currently assistant for religious life, will become one of the spiritual directors available to the priests and religious of the Atlanta territory. He will also help the territorial director to attend to the two apostolic schools. His residence will be at the apostolic school of Rolling Prairie, Indiana.

“I am deeply grateful to Fr. Bailleres for his dedicated and enthusiastic work during these years and I thank God for all the good that he has done for the Church and for so many people,” Fr. Corcuera said. “May all of us gratefully recognize his self-giving during the time that God entrusted him with this mission. I also ask you to keep Fr. Serra and Fr. LaSana very much in your prayers so that they will be docile instruments of the Holy Spirit in the work entrusted to them.”

  1. Thank God for faithful Legionaries like Fr. Bailleres and Fr.Corcuera, still going strong. I don't know how they do it!
