The following notice from Fr Scott Reilly, LC, announces a change of personnel in the Atlanta territory.
Dear Friends in Christ,
I am pleased to announce two changes in Legionary assignments.
Father William Serra has been named assistant for apostolate for the Atlanta territory. He replaces Father Emilio Diaz-Torre, who has been named territorial director for the territory of Monterrey, Mexico.
Father William was ordained in 2004, and served as territorial secretary for North America in 2004, becoming territorial secretary for the Atlanta territory until mid-2005. Since that time, he has been working in the Legionaries’ general directorate in Rome.
Father Emilio was ordained in 1993, and has spent most of his priesthood in the United States in various apostolic roles, based initially in the Northeast. Since 2005, he has worked from Atlanta as assistant for apostolate.
Please join me in welcoming Father William to his new assignment. And also join me in prayers for Father Emilio to continue doing in his new assignment what he has done so faithfully during his time with us: bring souls to Christ.
